A celebration of the poetry of renowned Canberra based Japanese tanka poet Saeko Ogi, the acknowledgement of the traditional Japanese practise of woodblock printing and the use of the highest quality handmade papers, washi from Japan.
A group of 13 mokuhanga artists from Australia and Japan with links to The Stables Print Studio run by Roslyn Kean in Sydney have come together to create a suite of prints in the traditional manner of Japanese woodblock, now referred to as mokuhanga.
