Print Studio
Welcome to The Stables Print Studio
An open studio class runs Wednesdays during term time. Students are instructed on an individual basis. Maximum of 8 students at any time with focus on relief printmaking. A selection of presses are available for use.
Most printing is done by hand using the KKB barens.

The class runs from 9.30am - 4.00pm
with some students attending alternate weeks.
​
Cost is $50 for the group class day per student (2024)
​
The Stables Print Studio is also available for private hire.

AIR program
Artist In Residence
Application is open to spend 1-3 weeks (flexible arrangements can be made) staying at The Stables Print Studio, as an invited artist in residence.
​
Accommodation is available on site, single or couples and fee available on application.
​
Visiting artist will have access to all mokuhanga equipment and the studio is equipped with 2 large etching presses available to use for woodblocks etc.
